יונתן נתניהו, מפקד סיירת מטכ״ל, לוחם שעוטר בעיטור המופת על גבורתו במלחמת יום הכיפורים. ב-4 ביולי 1976 פיקד על כוח הפריצה במבצע אנטבה לחילוץ בני הערובה שנחטפו לאוגנדה, ונפל בו. 102 בני ערובה חולצו, והמבצע נקרא אחרי מותו ״מבצע יונתן״. מכתביו, שיצאו לאור אחרי נפילתו, נקראים עד היום.

Yonatan Netanyahu, commander of the elite Sayeret Matkal unit, decorated with the Medal of Distinguished Service for his valor in the Yom Kippur War. On 4 July 1976 he led the assault force in the Entebbe raid to free hostages hijacked to Uganda, and fell there. 102 hostages were rescued, and the operation was renamed Operation Yonatan in his memory. His letters, published after his death, are still widely read.
