מזכרון יעקב, מראשי מחתרת ניל״י. בדרכה מקושטא ארצה ב-1915 ראתה במו עיניה את רצח העם הארמני, והדבר חיזק את נחישותה לפעול נגד השלטון העות׳מאני. כשנחשפה המחתרת בסתיו 1917 נאסרה ועונתה ארבעה ימים ולא הסגירה איש, ושמה קץ לחייה כדי שלא תישבר. בת 27 הייתה.
From Zichron Yaakov, one of the leaders of the NILI underground. Traveling home from Constantinople in 1915, she witnessed the Armenian genocide with her own eyes, which hardened her resolve to act against Ottoman rule. When the underground was exposed in the autumn of 1917 she was arrested and tortured for four days without betraying anyone, and took her own life so as not to break. She was 27.
