The Daf Yomi

Instituted by Rabbi Meir Shapiro of Lublin (1923): Jews everywhere study the same Talmud page each day, completing the entire Talmud together every seven and a half years. Hundreds of thousands take part daily, and the completion celebrations fill stadiums.
